LAMBETH HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY: GARDEN COACH OUTING: Wisley and Knowle Grange

LAMBETH HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

GARDEN COACH OUTING

Saturday 23rd May

(Cost £20)

RHS GARDENS, WISLEY

Wisley is described as a constantly changing show garden where the RHS shows the public how to do it. Whatever time of year one visits there is always something interesting to see and May is no exception. Our visit should enable us to see the remnants of the Spring show and the Summer display bursting into bloom. A good selection of plants to buy and a good restaurant and refreshment outlets.

KNOWLE GRANGE, SHERE

Knowle Grange is a private garden open under the National Gardens Scheme. It is situated in an idyllic hilltop position. Its owner Marie-Elizabeth Wood has created a new 7 acre garden from scratch blending the free romantic style with the strong architectural frame of the classical tradition. A rural one mile walk will improve the senses and the brain. Tea will be served at this garden.

Pick-up: 9am : Kennington Road junction with Black Prince Road
