Men arrested over stabbing death

Two men have been been arrested over the death of a 19-year-old who was found in a car which was stopped for jumping a red light in south London.

A murder inquiry was launched after the victim was found in one of three cars which ran the red light in Baylis Road, Waterloo early on Saturday.

It is thought he was stabbed outside a nightclub in Goding Street, Kennington.

An 18-year-old and 20-year-old are being questioned by police in south London on suspicion of murder.

The car carrying the teenager was stopped in Baylis Road at 0512 BST.

A post-mortem examination revealed he died from stab wounds.

At about the same time, another man, also 19, was found with stab injuries in Goding Street.

He was taken to a south London hospital and has since been discharged.
