Contemporary Art Exhibition in Kennington!

Dear Kennington News,

I would like to inform you that there will be a contemporary art exhibition in Kennington by two young artists (Katarina Rankovic and Takhmina Akhmedova) from 30th May - 6th June. It's admission free and suitable for all ages. Below is a description of the event, and please find attached some related images.

Artslav presents CUE; a quirky little number comprised of the work of artists Katarina Rankovic and Takhmina Akhmedova. Included are: 1930's Reinhardt jazz, a one-man cinema, mythological comic books, painting jams and improvised radio interviews with fictitious characters. The colour red, and the taste of red.
Housed in what was once a Victorian public underground lavatory, the works embrace spontaneity and improvisation, against a theatrical backdrop of self-mythologisation, ceremony and carnival. Visitors are invited to grab a glass of wine, and join us in creating a temporary hub of unexpected merriment and joie-de-vivre.

We would be grateful if you announced our exhibition on your blog. Also, feel free to come along to the opening on 30th May 7 - 11pm!

Kind regards,

Katarina Rankovic
