6.30pm-7.30pm  at Garden Museum,  Lambeth Palace Road; £15

Led by medical herbalist and artist Maria Vlotides learn

about how to use herbs for winter remedies. What is herbal

medicine? How was herbal medicine used both on the

battlefield and at home in World War I?† Maria Vlotides will

explore these questions and take a closer look at three

herbs critical to the period of the Great War. The talk will

also reveal some home remedies, with a particular focus on

coughs and colds. If you live in Princes or Bishop's Ward,

then you are entitled to a 'Neighbours' Card' which gives

you free entry to the museum and this event.
