The Vito Project presents Victim (1961) Wed Jun 24th 19:30

ReShape and the Cinema Museum have launched the VITO Project, a series of free monthly screenings bringing generations of LGBTs together to watch films and share ideas. This month's film is Victim (1961), directed by Basil Dearden, and starring Dirk Bogarde and Sylvia Syms.
Dirk Bogarde plays successful London barrister Melville Farr (Dirk Bogarde), who on the surface appears to have a perfect career and a loving marriage with Laura (Sylvia Sims). When blackmailers link Farr to a young gay man (Peter McEnery), Farr has to face up to his own homosexuality, at a time when this was still illegal.
The film will be followed by an open discussion.
This is a free event, but donations to the Museum will be welcome.
